Price Change by Location

In general, there are two causes for location-based price change:

  • Long distance from installation office in rural areas (~100+ miles)
  • Very high demand in highly urban areas

Typically, the former adds anywhere from $500 to $2000 to the price, while the latter can increase the price from $1000 to $3000, on average.

For example, a customer in Brownwood may pay $1,500 more for a bath remodel based out of San Antonio than a similar customer in Austin, due to distance. On the other hand, a customer in Dallas may pay $2,000 more due to high demand, despite being close to the installers office.

It’s because of all of these details that we require that all remodelers on our platform be completely upfront and honest with customers about any and all price changes due to location.
